Invisalign (braces) aligners

There are various methods to correct dental irregularities, but using Invisalign aligners is the most comfortable approach. The Invisalign treatment involves the application of a series of almost invisible aligner trays that the patient changes every two or three weeks.

These aligner trays are custom-made for each patient. By changing the aligners, the teeth will gradually shift (0.25 millimeters per aligner) until they reach their final position as prescribed by the orthodontist.

The Advantages of

Invisalign aligners

Nearly imperceptible

Invisalign/Clear aligners are barely noticeable while you wear them! Friends, family members, and colleagues may never even know that you are wearing aligners unless you tell them!

Comfortable to wear

The aligners are made of a special plastic with smooth, rounded edges, so they will not irritate your mouth and gums.

Customized just for you

Your clear aligners are tailored to fit your mouth perfectly. We use advanced 3D computer scanning technology to create an accurate impression of your mouth and teeth.

Not fixed (removable)

You can remove your Invisalign braces during meals, while drinking, brushing your teeth, flossing, and on special occasions. There’s no need to change your lifestyle with Invisalign/Clear Aligners!

You will start noticing a significant difference even before the treatment is complete! Most treatments are completed within a year; however, the duration of wearing the aligners may vary from patient to patient.

Four Steps for

Invisalign braces

Initial examination and consultation with the patient

If you are considering Invisalign, the first step is to determine whether it is the right choice for you. While Invisalign offers versatile treatment, it may not be a solution for all orthodontic issues.

The process of crafting aligners

When you decide to begin the Invisalign treatment, we conduct X-rays, capture photographs, and take impressions of your teeth, which are sent to the Invisalign company along with our instructions on how we want the teeth to move. Invisalign technicians input the information into the computer to generate a 3D representation of your teeth and a computer model illustrating how they will shift to the desired positions. It typically takes around a month for the aligners to reach our office.

Wearing the aligners

The aligners are worn in a specific sequence, typically for about two weeks each. As your treatment progresses, each new aligner will serve to bring your teeth into a more correct, optimal position. It is recommended to wear the aligners continuously (24/7), but you can take them off for eating or brushing your teeth, as well as on special occasions. This way, the alignment of your teeth will progress according to the plan.

Removing the braces and wearing retainers

After completing orthodontic therapy and removing the braces, the retention phase follows, which is equally important as wearing the appliance (braces). A tooth retainer is crafted based on the patient’s dental impression and is made of hard, transparent plastic, making it almost invisible. Its role is to maintain the teeth in their corrected position.
